VIVE LA 'WET' STONEYGATE!

Thank you to everybody who braved the elements and came down to our French Market. It really was the wettest Bank Holiday weekend that we can remember and on the Sunday it never stopped raining!

However, we all had fun and despite the weather, we were able to welcome many visitors to the area over the two days. There were plenty of bargains to be had as most the shops put on special promotions. The French stall holders from Normandy reported good sales and there were long queues for the baker and cheese stalls.

Thanks to everyone who helped with the organising, especially Mike Swan, Nick, Claire and Clive - also Jan, Debbie, Amber, Sabier, Glynn, Jit and Mike Brown.
